The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but not a normal hotel, this is a campus style hotel, if you are looking for a traditional hotel, this is not the one. The location is good for travelling to Ascot, Windsor, etc

The hotel restaurant was excellant, breakfast good value for money as much as you could eat, which set you up for the day, the only down side was the sunday morning staff, all male, not so much attention to clearing and re-setting tables as was the saturday morning. The booking of the hotel was not clear, we thought when we made the booking the sum had been taken off our account, it came as a suprise, our husbands having gone of early to the golf when we checked out to be asked for the balance of the room hire. we and several people before us were lucky to have bank / credit cad with us to settle the bill. The room needed nothing more than a good clean, no expense to the hotel chain, just a good housekeeper, the dust on the skirting board was deep, the radiator in the bahroom was discusting as was the shower tray. The staff were second to none apart from the female receptionist on our departure,Sunday 29th May she was rude, condersing and abrupt.
when booking it appeared you would stay in the house not in what appeared to be student campus accomadation

The breakfast was really good value, and very well executed. They have the capacity to produce a really good hot buffet and plenty of choice on the continental side.
The walls here are paper thin - I can only imagine that this is their reasoning behind not allowing children to stay in the week.

The staff were accommodating and extremely polite. Everything was modern. - the food choices were outstanding. - the location for Ascot was incredible, just off nearby Windsor for attending conference, Legoland, and nearby restaurants or easy taxi service.

The De Vere was a very nice and quiet hotel. The morning after we explored the huge gardens and woodlands, it was fantastic.
The only thing that prevented us giving the De Version excellent marks was the really unsociable checkout time of 09:00am!!!! What was that all about? Really, that tainted the stayNormal checkout is between 11:00 & 13:0

The room was neat, it had a shower and a hairdryer. The location was decent, for example, Holy Trinity Church was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The team provided a good service.
